Which singer would you like to chat with?

This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

I would want to talk to Vince Clarke (Erasure) because he shares my loyalty to analog synthesizers.

Ironic that I came across this post today. I had a dream about exactly this last night.

I would love to have a sit down with Marilyn Manson. While he is known mostly for his theatrical and often shocking stage performances, if you sit down and carefully listen to the songs that he writes, it's pretty much pure brilliance. He pulls from his own experiences, classic literature, and political topics that make the listener question their ideas about what they believe themselves. His use of symbolism and metaphor, not to mention pure wit, makes him one of the greatest songwriters of our time. And if you can't bring yourself to make it through one of his songs to test this, his interviews are also gems of insight and eloquence. Picking his brain about art and the importance of challenging the system would be a very enlightening evening.

Definitely Ed sheeran. He's good at making love songs with romantic lyrics. He seems sweet too. I would like to ask him the tips to make the good lyrics and simple music but meaningful. He's the only singer that I found likeable in this century.

There are several, but Brendan Urie would be fun because he has such a cool personality I would love the opportunity to chat with him and ask a million questions. I've always loved his interviews and hearing where some of the songs came from, especially King of the Clouds.

I would love to speak to Brendon Urie from Panic! at the Disco. His vocal capabilities are on another level, it's very rare to see such musical talent in today's society.

This is so very true, and I'm glad someone else agrees. He is talented beyond belief and the way he writes songs is so intriguing! I would love to have even just an hour to pick his brain.

Brendon Boyd Urie is great. So glad to find other fans. :mrgreen2:
Heart! We will forget him!
You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.

When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!
