Because I prefer to listen to the production and melodies of songs anyways, I don't really case about the language of the song. I'm sure understanding the lyrics can add depth to a song, but it's not necessary to enjoy the song. Besides, having that prejudice only just prevents us from being able to access masterpieces!

I do like foreign songs specially they give you a great view of other cultures even without going there. It opens a gate to greatness. It helps understand what others think of things or about their beliefs...

I agree if the melody is of your liking then it doesn't matter what language the song is being sung in.

I love listening to songs in Arabic, Spanish, and English. Arabic songs just calm you down, make you feel at peace. Spanish music always makes me wish I was in love, falling in love, or just simply getting me up to dance. And English music just depends on the genre and song for me.

I care a lot about the lyrics of a song. So it should be in German or English. The only exception are Spanish songs during the summer holiday. They can put you in a good mood while laying in the sun. And I can’t understand the lyrics... therefore, I don’t think too much about it.

I love Indian music, I can dance to it all day. Also, Spanish music, love it.

If I talk about BTS, Despacito or Shakira's songs, they do it for me. the beat matters not the language. An english lyrics copy with the music going on can also prove to be useful if someone is interested in lyrics.

Although songs in English hold the lion's share, if the music is good then the foreign language is not a barrier.

i love listening to music in foreign languages

it kind of makes it more about the vibe of the song rather than the actual lyrics

plus, they can be very helpful for learning new languages

I like them. Music is a universal language. So it would be stupid to hate them based on language. Currently I have been introduced to this song, both in foreign language for me: Umberto Tozzi - Ti Amo & this one Con Te Patrio— I forgot its artist.

I recommend: Not Yet Uhuru, Via Orlando by Monwa and Sun

As Spanish is my first language I grew up listening to music in English. It was the most normal thing in the world so it's weird to me people's refusal to do that. You can enjoy more than the lyrics of a song, though I search for the lyrics of the songs I like cause the meaning is important too, and I connect with the message even if it's not in my language. Also, sometimes even songs in Spanish I don't understand completely until I search for a certain part of the lyrics. I'm sure a lot of people have felt like that with some songs in their languages.

I am not fond of music in an alternate language. It is only because I obviously do not under what they are saying so I cannot appreciate the rhythm of something I do not under. I am sure non-Americans probably think some of our music is very odd also.

Shakira is good no matter where or who you are. I can enjoy it without knowing much Spanish. Also, I’m learning so it helps.

I love listening to songs in different languages, they all have different flavours, so to say, just so rich and varied. It's a beautiful experience, I would encourage others to try it out as well!
