Bloom by The Paper Kites. Makes me sob uncontrollably every time. It's one of my favorites of all time but I almost always have to skip it.

Two of the most touching songs in recent memory are Yours by Ella Henderson and Rise Up by Andra Day. It was the accompaniment of the video for the latter that made it that much more impactful. Otherwise the song that made me sit up and take notice is I Was Here by Beyonce, though this is less saddening than inspiring.

When the party's over by Billie Ellish. Try to avoid it but can't stop myself from listening to it.

I don't know why but Fade to Black makes me cry every time I listen to it.
Heart! We will forget him!
You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.

When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!

Kelly Clarkson's "Because of You"

I can relate to it so much with the song pertaining to my dad.

I don't have a song that makes me cry every time but there is a song that really makes me think and tugs at my heart.

"In My Life" by The Beatles.

When John gets to the part:

"All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends, I still can recall
Some are dead, and some are living
In my life, I've loved them all"

It really hits hard. GREAT song by a great group.

that would be 'photograph' by ed sheeran. the songs touches me in so many different levels because the words means so much to me. how the artist says that in the photographs they are just holding each other and that their hearts are not broken and all the other instances also makes me cry like a baby. Do listen if you haven't already.

“Angel” by Aretha Franklin. It doesn’t make me cry, but I do feel sad for her sister because she is so lonely. I can just image the two of them having that heart-to-heart conversation.

I love Leonard Cohen, but Jeff Buckley’s version of “Hallelujah” rips my heart from my body and replaces it upside down and with parts left over every time I hear it — which is seldom, because even though it’s stunning, it’s also obviously brutal. So real and raw and powerful. Another potential legend gone way before his time. (Note: The version I’m speaking of is the one in Jeff’s music video for the song, not the version on his Grace album.)

I'm not much of a crier so if I do cry at something, I am probably very sad about it. I don't actually cry every time I hear it. But, "Time of Your Life" by Green Day not only for personal reasons but also because this song was used on "ER". And, "Nothing Compares to You" by Sinead O'Connor. Supposedly, that was written by Prince, or at least that is what I have heard.

Something in the way by Nirvana. I just can't listen to this song anytime. It's wrecking.

And now they put in the new Batman movie, I am excited and anxious in equal measures 😂

Cut by Plumb. A few years ago, I went through a really dark time. I would listen to this song and cry myself to sleep every night. I related to it so much. I'm in a better place now but I am still moved to tears when that song comes on.

'November Rain' by guns & roses. Its lyrics along with high pitch and music really creates a buzz and I get lost. I'like to listen to it when I am alone and I often get wet eyes.
