MOTM August 2017: CatintheHat

Post by bookowlie »

I am pleased to announce the August 2017 Member of the Month is…CatintheHat! CatintheHat has been a member of the site since May 2016. An avid reader, she has already read 42 books in 2017…and it’s only July! I have no doubt she will surpass her annual reading goal of 52 books. CatintheHat’s reviews are well written with thorough, insightful commentary. She is also supportive of other reviewers and routinely posts thoughtful comments. CatintheHat is a regular contributor to other sub-forums and initiates interesting discussion topics such as “Choosing Books for In-Person Book Clubs” and “Recipes within Stories.” When she brings up suggestions, they are presented in a detailed and respectful manner. As a fellow Dr. Seuss lover, I have to admit her user name always makes me smile. I can already guess what she might wear on her head during her reign. Please join me in giving a round of applause to our newest Member of the Month, CatintheHat!

Congratulations CatintheHat. I like the name, sounds fun. Already read 42 books in 2017, that's impressive, you've given me reading goals.

I'm glad the review encouraged you to read the book. It was a great book to get to review. I personally learned a lot from it as far as the history of the time period goes.
