Member of the Month Nomination: bookowlie

Post by zeldas_lullaby »

Please join me in honoring October’s Member of the Month… bookowlie! Loyal, steady, and true, bookowlie oozes common sense and avian wisdom. As a truly dedicated member of the review team, she puts forth a wonderful effort into every review that she writes, and she’s written some great ones. Unflappably owlish, her feathers don’t get ruffled when people refer to her politely as “Mr. Bookowlie.” :o How many times have I whispered, “Dude! She’s a female,” to a well-intentioned forum member? And yet she always takes it in stride! A seasoned reviewer, bookowlie is always willing to take the new reviewers under her owlish wing and show them the ropes. She contributes frequently in the forums, and her presence is greatly valued!

So raise your glass for bookowlie! Hear, hear. She’s a friend to forum members near and far. Her favorite haunt is the five-letter-word game, so here’s one for her: Owlish Wisdom Lies Inside Everyone.

Oh my...THANK YOU!! I missed the party last night, but I will humbly put the crown on this morning. :) It is an honor to be recognized.

Thanks Gali for pointing me in the right direction to this topic...and your kind words!
Thanks Meg for such an eloquent introduction and passing along the torch after a distinguished reign. :) I am not worthy!

I do believe this is an honor that you do deserve @bookowlie! I have only been around for about 2 months, but you (and @zeldas_lullaby of course) are two names that I am very familiar with due to your insightful presence around the forums. Allow modesty to take a vacation and bask in the glory that you have achieved. :)
