Ending Book summary with a Question
I'm just checking to avoid losing marks in my review. I've seen reviews having the book summary end with a question.
For example,
"............... Mike is now devastated. Will he survive the troubles?"
I hope you understand me. Thanks.

Thanks ButterscotchCherrie. Putting the questions in the plot summary is also a great idea.ButterscotchCherrie wrote: ↑20 Dec 2017, 05:03 Hi, I would be more inclined to put the questions in the part about the plot summary, which would normally be nearer to the beginning of the review. Hopefully someone else can tell you more about what might not fly.

Thanks Lincolnshirelass. Using questions to end a book summary when the book ends on a cliffhanger seems okay.Lincolnshirelass wrote: ↑20 Dec 2017, 05:11 Interesting point. My personal hunch is that it would be fine (and appropriate) if the book ended on a cliffhanger, but I'm not so sure otherwise.

Sorry, for some reason my reading comprehension was on the fritz when I first replied to your post ( I thought you were asking about ending the review with a question). So I have edited my first response!Rosemary Wright wrote: ↑20 Dec 2017, 05:50 Putting the questions in the plot summary is also a great idea.
Anyway, I think it's great to end a book summary with a question.
