Capitalizing Certain Words
When referring to a certain genre of books, should it be capitalized? I was confused because I first put Christian Fiction. However, I think it should be Christian fiction.

It's probably too late for this particular case, but maybe this will come in handy at another time.Hunter_T wrote: ↑05 Apr 2021, 08:44 I just wanted to clarify a couple things before submitting. Should branches of the military be capitalized? For example: Marines, the Marines, etc.

Here are links regarding capitalization rules for military branches:

And here is a link about capitalizing genres (the short answer is they should not be capitalized):

I would conclude that the branches should be capitalized as they are proper nouns(names of places and things), also always add “the” before the Marines, it needs a subject.Hunter_T wrote: ↑05 Apr 2021, 08:44 I just wanted to clarify a couple things before submitting. The second option is correct, Christian is a proper noun while fiction is not.
