The Unsuspecting Nature of Grief was just so original and unpredictable in its premise. I loved that. I like an author who can think outside the box.
Burden of a Soldier really affected me emotionally. I LOVED the ending of it, and I just loved its overall message. It really had an impact on me. I thought it was beautiful.

I love a lot of stories in the book, but if I had to choose one of them, I would have to say "Ghostwriter" by Kristi Hudecek-Ashwill
It was quite twisted supernatural story, which is one of my favorite genres

It is frustrating when you have a poll and get only a few people to vote!!bookowlie wrote:I wish more people would vote for their favorite story since it's clear that more people read the book than the total votes indicate. I wonder if the stories are so varied that it's just hard for readers to pick a favorite.

I was caught up in my work and the reviews, but I'm seriously considering to read it.

Although, I do enjoy short stories, and it'll possibly be my next buy. This forum's recommendations are varied and usually interesting reads.

All in all a very interesting group of stories with a lot of originality.
