When Do You Typically Do the BOTD Free $20 Giveaway?

Post by Jacki Mac Iver Hill »

I'm lucky enough to work from home and my kids are grown so I generally go to the giveaway page and do the sample reading and bonus tasks first thing in the morning before I even have breakfast!

I look forward to seeing what the BOTD is and it's a great way to start my day.

I'm just curious as to when those of you who work outside the home or have other responsibilities in the morning find the time to enter the giveaway and complete the bonus entries?

I also work from home, but I usually wait for the email reminding me to do the giveaway before logging in and doing it.

I also wait for the email but mostly because I have a hard time navigating the site to find the BOTD.

Today and yesterday are probably the 3rd and 4th time I have ever done them. I am a stay at home mom and have a one year old and a toddler though so there's not a lot of opportunity for me, yet. I want to be able to keep up with it more, though!

I normally wait for the email to come through as most of the time I completely forget.

Now that I'm home on quarantine, I get my little girl up, give her breakfast, and take care of the BOTD while she's eating and I'm having my coffee.

I'm in Europe so it's usually mid-afternoon when the new BOTD is announced. If the kids are nicely playing together I do it right away, else I wait until they have gone to bed.

Since quarantine, I sleep during the day because I stay up during the early morning hours. So when I wake up in the evenings, that's when I do the BOTD entry and input all my comments during the next few hours as well.

I typically go in during the middle of the day and take care of the BOTD giveaway. I find it relaxing, so it's only fitting that I do it during my lunch break.

I do it as soon as it is announced. Sometimes I do it even before receiving the email. Then the last thing will be to wait for the email because I can't complete it without the code.
