Do you prefer to read in a library or at home?

Post by MsLisa »

As long as I've lived I've never liked reading in libraries. The quiet of the library makes me uncomfortable because I'm afraid if I sneeze, place my foot on the ground too hard or get up from my chair too quick and it squeaks on the ground everyone will turn around to look at me.

How do you feel about reading in libraries?

I know what you mean by it being uncomfortably quiet. The library isn't my first choice (or even my second or third) for places to read. I prefer a coffee shop. I also like to read at home or outside at a park.

Home learing is much more preferable for me. I love to read by sitting at home rather than reading in Library.

I just feel excited about being surrounded by books. Though I know I do not have the time to read them all, I feel really good when I am in the library. And I always end up scanning the shelves and reading, consequently.

I prefer reading at home because i find it more peaceful and also relaxing. I can control my time and laugh really loud anytime i want ๐Ÿ˜‚ and express my emotional and physical feelings about the book I am reading.

Thanks for the topic! got me feeling like crazy ๐Ÿ˜‚ I just really loved books.

Reading in libraries with other people makes me have more social anxiety and it's harder to read, so at home all the way.

I love both. Some libraries aren't comfortable so I would say my house.

At home. This allows me to read while sitting at different positions where I feel more comfortable.

When I was a student, I had to read some books in a library. I couldn't take away some of them, it was forbidden)) Accordingly, I'm used to read in public places but anyway, reading at home is better. A home atmosphere is more cozy and calm. :techie-reference:
