Game of Quotes (from books)

Post by Nimat87 »

' In truth, he wasn't certain how he was supposed to feel. On the one hand, this was what he was paid to do. The purpose of an army was to kill the enemies of the Crown and Empire.... Despite having done his duty, a part of him felt foul, knowing he had murdered a fellow human being.'
'We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit. '
-Will Durant, The Story of Philosophy (1926).
