Yeah I'm waiting to get my first review approved (or not) to move on to the next book :shifty:
Not sure why. I have these "superstitions" sometimes >_>

im thinking up some new threads which will hopefully appeal to new members enough to stick around and participate and also get some of us "oldies" involved too
I think that is the thing that maybe causes me not to post so much, nothing new to post to. I read the site all the time. But I really am not much into the word games, and once a question is answered, it is kind of answered, unless someone brings up a challenging point. :eusa-think: Perhaps, since I am guilty of not posting new posts myself, I should try to think of new things also.

You don't have to post new posts. There are many discussions threads in which you can participate.

Aloha,

I rarely post because of my grammar. If I may, this group has Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and Pinterst. Maybe you could try and see more members. I think Facebook is the biggest but I am not sure.

People just have to find a forum or two that interest them to get them posting and interacting with other members and they will most likely stay active on the site.

At this posting, this is actually my 28th post and I have been here almost a year. Most of my posts are either my official reviews or a posting related to the books I've read. That's just me personally.

Are you sure they just vanished? Maybe you just haven't bumped into them these days? It's hard to keep track of people's online footprint if you're not checking their history.

In my experience, in every online group - newsgroup, forum, social media group - there's an active minority writing more or less regularly and a majority of "lurkers" who just read the messages with little or no active participation. Yes, there are people who abandon the place but probably other people discover it.
Ciao :)
