I have not seen this quote before, but it quickly spoke to me. I am not the type of reader who looks into every detail looking for the undercurrent. I often quip that Animal Farm is "REALLY" just a book about animals. I enjoy a book that requires you to read all of the words, but not have to make up words, to tell a good story. I like a story that gets through to me.
