Can a male have a female best friend without intimate feelin

Post by Preciosonic »

Several persons have a different opinion on this ,they believe a guy can't have a girl as a best friend and don't have intimate feelings eventually towards her, others oppose,so dearies what are your views? Can he just have her as a best friend and nothing more?Your views are important

Yes I believe they can. I have guy friends and have no feelings for them. I think it's even easier when you are an adult.

Maybe, I mean I do have female friends but not close ones. I ended up marrying my best friend years ago. We both had feelings for each other all along but none was confident in admitting. Probably why I can't conclusively make a decision on this statement.

It's plausible. I once had a friend that i actually did have feelings for at one time, but we quickly realised that we wouldn't work well together, so we called it off. After that we were best friends for years until he passed away 3 years ago. I also have other friends who are male I've never had feelings for, but for some reason we were never as close as my friend that passed. So, from that i think it's safe to assume that it's possible.

I think if there are several female best friends, they can stay as friends. However, I believe that this is not possible most of the time.

Yes I believe they can. I had a guy friend when I was younger that I thought I could be more than friends but in the end it was just too weird. After being just friends that was what we were used to and best for the both of us

I had a best guy friend through middle school and high school. We were always found together. No intimate feelings at least to my knowledge. But that fool knew when I was on my monthly. It never failed. I would walk into a room, acting a certain way and he would announce it to the world. He was never wrong.
It would have been weird if we were anything other than what we were. I knew it and I am fairly certain he did as well.
