Pamela was considered and so was Mary Frances, but for some reason neither fit the bill. I was born in a Catholic hospital, and the night before I was to go home, a Nun came into my mother's room and said that they had to put something on the birth certificate besides "baby girl".
Evidently I was born on a church feast day dedicated to Saint Paul...hence the name "Paula".... I kid you not!
