Relatives coming from as far as Mexico City and Chihuahua. They are having live music and dancing and all kinds of good food, should be a lot of fun.
Congratulations! :)

Mango season is starting, I bought a few yesterday and am going to enjoy a mango ice cream shake for breakfast.

Planted a new fig tree today, after the last one died in another part of the yard. This one's in the middle of the lawn, so the soil should be better.
Fingers crossed.

Mathematics made me happy today. After a long time, I have discovered a new passion. I never thought I could enjoy them when I was younger (I'm 22), but I found myself incredibly hooked as I decided to start University here in Italy and I absolutely the way in which they purely describe what surrounds us. Absolute amazement in spending the whole day writing down formulas and thinking about how to solve problems.

Hmm. What made me happy was hearing my fiance read two books to our one year old son. He's not a big reader but he'll do it if it makes our boy want to read more.
It's amazing to see the world through the eyes of children. It's more fun to read with them, too.

I saw it rather funny when my dad asked me to go get a school for my daughter claiming she is clever enough to attend school, mind you she is only 7months, toothless and can not even talk though she acts clever than even all of us in the house...
