Alys was seven the first time she saw the soul eaters.

These soul eaters are twin sisters who were abandoned by their father and slowly grew into something not quite human. And they feed off of human souls. When her village was attacked, Alys was spared and sent to live in a neighboring village. There the devout people created a strict world where fear of the soul eaters—and of the Beast they believe guides them—rule village life. But the Beast is not what they think he is. And neither is Alys.

Inside, Alys feels connected to the soul eaters, and maybe even to the Beast itself. As she grows from a child to a teenager, she longs for the freedom of the forest. And she has a gift she can tell no one, for fear they will call her a witch. When disaster strikes, Alys finds herself on a journey to heal herself and her world. A journey that will take her through the darkest parts of the forest, where danger threatens her from the outside—and from within her own heart and soul.

Sounds good. Enjoy! :)

A few things. The sun is shining, and the weather is supposed to be a bit warmer today. And, like every day, my family.

Finding a few CDs (used, yay!) that I have been wanting for years! And confirming that they are in working condition. Double yay!

Today my husband and I went for a drive to explore some local small rural towns and roads I haven't seen. It was a nice change of pace.

Finally got our Christmas tree decorated! It's so nice to see it glowing in the window now that it gets dark at 5PM.
I don't even care if it's before Thanksgiving~ I lived retail for too many years so my Christmas-season gauge is broken. xP

Online Book Club sent me an email with 30th Century: Escape free book link in exchange of my review. This made me so happy. I thought, I could read the book and interact with the topics for November book of the month discussions.

On the contrary, when Amazon Kindle alerted me that it is not available in my country, I feel frustrated. ? And what more? I've got a problem on how to take that out from my RT review page list which showed I am currently reading the book with date downloaded yesterday, November 27, 2017.

Any advise guys? @Gali and @Scott
