That I spent four hours with my sick loved one today. It was great to see them but it can all be very draining so I appreciated the manageable chunk of time. Since then I have been enjoying some R&R by taking a long, hot bath. Creature comforts always make me happy.

Awesome! Some weak sunshine here ...
I am also happy because:
1. I started a new morning routine consisting of writing "morning pages", meditation, and working on my novel. I think it's going to work well.
2. I was productive.
3. I have accepted the reality that life is never going to stop sucking. I hoped that maybe someday it would but now I think that's an illusion. So I am more focusing on dealing with it - showing what I've got.
4. Buying the Czikszentmihalyi classic "Flow". I would love to operate in flow as much as possible and as a first step towards that, I look forward to reading the book when I can.
