Re: 20 questions Guess My Character

Post by DATo »

My first thought was The Three Musketeers.

OK, what is the genre of the novel (if indeed novel it is) that the characters are taken from?

1) Classic
2) Multiple main characters
3) Not a French author
4) A play
5) A comedy
6) Male character

Does part of the play involve an aspect of fantasy or the supernatural?

It does not.

Also, I have to amend my earlier answer. In early versions there is a supernatural element. :tiphat:

Woo Hoo! I love the play too. Especially Benedict and Beatrice. Claudia didn’t deserve Hero.
I wasn’t aware of a supernatural element, what was that?

Thanks, Gravy.

Ok, here we go.

A modern classic

A modern classic
Early versions apparently included Imogen, the ghost of Leonato's wife. (I seriously had no idea about this.)

Claudio was an idiot, and Hero had horrible taste.
Though, at least she didn't fancy Don John.

Beatrice and Benedick are brilliant, though Beatrice owns the best wit. 8)

Okay...let's see...modern classic...

Published in the last fifty years?

I see what you mean about Innogen, maybe she was a continuity error like The Taming of the Shrew when Shakespeare forgot that it was a play being performed for a drunken tinker.

Modern classic published mid 20th century.
