Was the author who created this character inspired by one (or more) people he had known (or known of) in his life?

GUESS:
Aragorn from Lord Of The Rings by Tolkien?

If not ....

Is the character one that the reader supports or is the character a villain?

This is not a simple question. The character is very divisive. Some love him, some hate him.
Some see him as an unconvenional hero, some as a villain.

However, he is not the villain of the story.

I fear this may spell the end of my character. :shifty:

GRAVY : That last answer was about as perfectly constructed as it could have possibly been made. I think I know who it is but I will wait to see if anyone else comes up with the answer first.
