My family had a discussion about Adult Coloring Books on Christmas and my grandpa says "What is it, Porn?" I spit my drink everywhere :lol2: :lol2:

I'm a bit obsessed with Joanna Basford. I have all three of her coloring books and she has two more releasing this year. Creative Haven has some nice cheap ones on Barnes and Noble's website. I'm talking less than $4 I have Fanciful Faces. Anyone who likes cats will love Creative Cats!

I love to color!! It's mindless and helps me to destress from a long day. My husband and daughter were laughing at first, but my daughter asked for an adult coloring book for Christmas! :D

Coloring is quite relaxing no matter how old you are. :)

It is so wonderful that these are popular. Something calming is always a good thing! More calm...that is what we need.

I love that they've become popular. I've always coloured, but there were only so many out there. I had all the Dover ones and reached the point of rebuying the same ones over again, because there were so few to choose from. Now there are dozens of new titles coming out each week. I'm loving it. :)

I loved coloring when I was a kid and I would love getting an adult coloring book as a gift but I can't really see myself spending money on one for myself. :P

Well, you don't have to spend a LOT of money. I've noticed that a lot of coloring books are on sale lately, at places like Ollie's, the Christmas Tree Store, and Michael's. Not sure if they're on sale all the time, but it would be worth checking if you have an interest.

From my experience, the real expense is good colored pencils. There are cheap ones--but if you want ones that really work well and have a good variety of colors, you'll be spending more money. I was lucky--I got an Amazon card for Christmas!

I can't believe how popular this has become!
I've always loved coloring, but the books were mostly limited. Now, they're everywhere!

In fact, I think I see a new one every time I walk in a store!
