I read the second one, "The Ghoul Next Door." I saw it in a store and bought it because it was/is one of the biggest series out right now. So I wanted to see what all the hype was about. It was pretty good! I don't know why I haven't read any of the others though.

I got hooked on the movies, so I'm giving the books a try. A little younger than the YA I typically read, but it's cute and fun

They're silly-cute. I can't vouch for their accuracy, but they made me love the characters

Pretty equal in this case. They seem to be very different, but it's been a while since I saw the first movie

Sometimes I like when the books and movies differ from one another. I feel like I get more interesting stories that I wouldn't see from just the book.

It would usually (almost always) be the book

I have to amend my prior statement. After thinking about it, the movies are very different. In the movies they actually start a monster high school.

I only have one issue with monster high: it was developed. I have a weird thing about developed works.

But I love the whole monster thing, so I'm still hooked

Hmm... In the preference game, I should ask, "Hogwarts or Monster High?" I can't think of any other cool, fictional high schools.
