Book association game

Post by Embracing_Madness »

I'd like to try a game I've never played before: Someone picks a book, and the next person will pick another book which shares a common element with the previous book (it'd be great if you could mention what that common element is, whether it be the author, the theme, the setting, name of the protagonist, etc. Doesn't matter how random the association might be, I'd love to see what books turn up!). As an example, I'll start it off easy with the first two books:

His Majesty's Dragon from Naomi Novik's Temeraire series

JK Rowling's Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
~~The element they share? Dragons.
