I used to play the drums in my local music scene. Now I spend my free time (if there's any at all) playing the guitar, bass, and keyboard.

When not working or reading, I love to make crafts! I can do vinyl shirts and decals, resin crafts, cooking, baking, and crafts with my kids.

I love playing video games, hanging out with my family, or just relaxing with a good crossword or word search book.

I write cards to friends and family, I bake, I watch sports, I garden, and I volunteer to make sack lunches for the hungry in our town. I like to do arts and crafts, take photos, and make collages. I also love to watch movies.

I enjoy gardening and growing plants. At the moment, it is not a typical garden with vegetables and flowers. This year, I grew a few vegetables, but I am really interested in trees, especially Walnut trees. I am also getting into plants that fix nitrogen into the soil; it's like they are providing free fertilizer for the plants around them. They make good companions for almost all other plants.

I started documenting some of these activities on my blog (David's Blog), but then got a bit lazy to update it.

I also enjoy computer programming and working with mathematics. Many of the routines written are posted on my website (specific routines are also mentioned on the blog). Remember the Quadratic Equation in high school? I wrote a small routine that solves such problems and posted it on the website for anybody to use.

Reading is good, and I usually have at least one book on the go all the time, but don't consider it a hobby. It is just something I do. Reading is an important part of life, especially good books.
