@Mindful Wordsmith @review-specialist @Lunastella @Mounce574 @Jude Austin @Susan Frances @Gravy @ semira yasin Sorry if I've missed anyone. :oops2:

Thank you Susan! :D

Next Riddle:

1) I am famous around the world and I am not associated with food.
2) Though I am a short and heavy man, many women have lusted for me.
3) In order for me to accept an invitation to your home you must do something exceptional.
4) I am occasionally seen on TV.

What is my name ?

Great song! And my first thought is Santa Claus, but I don't think many women lust after him...

What is grief, if not love persevering?

Interesting. So I think it could be a mascot. Like the Monopoly Guy. It's definitely not the right answer. But it's got to be something similar.

I like your reasoning.

I was thinking something similar. I just can't figure out who. :lol:

You are on the right track. The answer to the riddle could indeed find favorable comparison to the old millionaire in the Monopoly game in some respects.

HINT #3 - I am something tangible

It's not the right answer, but there is a similarity in the way in which both are depicted.

Hint #4 - I am often compared with a distant cousin of mine who reminds people of a can .... or is it a cane?
(Careful, this is a play on words. Think "city".)
