Boulevard of Broken Hearts

I'm here again
In this boulevard of broken hearts
Tears and misery keeping me awake
Its five the morning and I lay here
Crying for a lost child
Mine. I lost mine.
The baby I tried to keep
As long as I could
Tuck in my belly safe and loved
And now as I look back
I see the things that weren't anymore

Beautiful and tragic.

The loss of any child can destroy a community, which is why I love the connection to the boulevard of broken hearts. I picture a community grieving over this loss.
