Breath In My Bellows

Post by fatima115 »

Breath In My Bellows

This earth pulls me down
To inhale the scent of a matyr's carcass
That traverses to my interior
Inspiring a song in me
But their cruel hands strangle
The tunnel in my neck
The breath in my bellows they choke
It's their song or no song
The breath refuses to die
Forming bubbles in the ocean of my thoughts
Sending ripples of life deep and wide
A Sisyphean task it is to resist
The songs in my bellows
But oh! The grim reapers that await
The birth of each new voice
