MY PLEA

Post by hildah-mart86 »

There he is, he who has been torturing,
Beating and to say the least....
GIVING ME UP FOR MARRIAGE!
After stopping me from going to school

I am only fourteen,
I can hardly be seen,
By any rescuer,
And I am in a cloud of distress

Father, why.....
Aren't I your daughter,
So that you make me a sought-after
Asset? Answer ......why?

You took me to the "cutter"
What happened is easy to remember
Uh! But difficult to explain...
Look at me now, a victim of F.G.M!
Who will rescue me?

World... This is my plea,.hear me out
Rescue me from these monsters:
Early marriages and Female Genital Mutilation

Thanks for approving my subject.
Indeed, these are real issues affecting girls in many African countries.
