The Blissful equilibrium

Post by Chandrachur Banerjee »

In the depth of the sea of agony
An unheard sigh of relief does remain
Deep down as the breath goes away and fails to keep up with the melancholy
Bliss floats on life and watches death happen

The petulant waves ooze out of the eternal decanter
It lashes and falls on the face of the sleeping infant
Who is dressed as bliss, floating unconsciously on life’s boisterous yet perilous water
But nothing really matters for her to lament.

The warmth of the merry air
Soothes the back immersed in the poignant cold
Death seems to have paved the way
To reach happiness from life’s hold

At the heights of the holy mountains
So ignorant seem the plains
But with heights come fear
Of losing us and our dear
Life that it makes us afraid to preserve the same
We jump to be relieved from fears tame
But bliss stands high riding on life and watches death happen

I can tell you enjoy imagery..but to what point?
"But nothing really matters for her to lament."

Who is the her in the poem? She I am interested in...where is the poem going...what is it's purpose.
Consider delving deeper.
