I Was Young Before

Young.
I was so young back then
So innocent, so in love
Laughing at nothing
Dancing without stopping
Rushing in the morning
Such beauty, such innocence
Made me feel whole
With confidence written all over
Smiling softly and unaware
Of the later years
Hanging by the moment

Hmmm....I think this poem may be a bit too generic
I can see there are strong emotions but they are lost in the cliches
