A Poem for Her
Her eyes are the glimmering colour of emerald green
That colour of the forest after it rains
The hope they shower no matter what has happened, is real
Leaving you with the feeling it brings
They are just like exquisite priceless emerald
When you look into them you feel weak to the bones
Maybe you should stop staring and instead, give her a hand
She is laying on the floor, hurt, and you are busy feeding your hormones

I think there is an entire poem - hiding in this one line. Wanting to be pulled out.
