A fun poem, thanks! I'm not sure I know what I am good at. Not yet anyways. I would love to be a writer but I never seem to be able to get the ideas out of my head the way I want them to be.

“What is your forte’?”
I don’t really know,
But I’m first to be summoned
To shovel the snow,
Or to tidy the lawns
On a hot summer day.
“Go, fix the car.”,
Is the mandate today.
It seems I am valued
For all of these tasks
Or to run a quick errand
When anyone asks.
My skill sets are legion
My performace sublime
All tasks completed
In reasonable time.
I am called on to answer
Each varied behest.
Will someone please help me?
I’m being forte’d to death!
“I just got out of the hospital. I was in a speed reading accident. I hit a book mark and flew across the room.”

Loved the line about the dog! My dogs forte is, unfortunately, eating poo.

I love this :D the plight of the American Everyman. Great job putting your legion skillset to use! Love your writing style.
