When flowers bloomed in my backyard,
I plucked a white one and gave it to my old neighbour,
''Peace be with you''
He told me,''Thank you my son,peace be with you too!''

When flowers bloomed in my backyard,
I plucked a yellow one and gave it to my sister,
''Family forever!''
She told me,''Thank you.Let the family ties remain forever unbroken!''

When flowers bloomed in my backyard,
I picked a pink one and gave it to my ''baby mama''
''Have this.Have a nice day''
She said,''Wait! It is beautiful!.I wish we never broke up!Thank you and have a nice day too!''

When flowers bloomed in my backyard,
I picked a blue one and gave it to the beggar on Koinange street,
''What is this for?'' he asked,
''Blue means it shall be okay''

When flowers bloomed in my backyard,
I picked a red one and gave it to my lover,
She looked at it for a long time and said,''It is over between us!
I am leaving you! I have had enough of your backyard flowers!
I do not want your backyard flowers any more!
I want flowers from your heart!'

I like it. Deep meaning with flowers being the physicality of those feelings!
