The evil within

I watched over it, wounded
Clothes torn apart
Like it was attacked by a cat
As I was about to depart..
I saw its face

Crying for help, but there were no tears
Confusion surged in my mind
The moaning continued,
for what seemed like an eternity
I could not help myself but to grin

It finally came crushing down
Hitting the ground hard like a giant
I went over next to it
And smiled..
For my dear-enemy's defeat
