I see you in my dreams where we dance under the light of the moon
Where we hold hands and tell tales of just me and you
I recite the captivating words to say to you
I practice the emotions to give away
I rehearse scenes of leaning in to plant that kiss on you
But just as I bump into you around the corner
And you flash that soul capturing smile
My thoughts jolts into commotion
My mind screams but my lips stutter inaudibly
My heart races and skids with exciting panic
