Pancakes and heartbreaks
You love one hot but the other hurts
Oh how I miss those spicy pancakes that ma did make
Just like the love we had before you caused me heart ache
Drowned me in your steaming love and left me to burn
Like my first attempt to replicate ma's pancakes
That I'll never forget just like our sweet lost love
So I'll run back straight home to ma's bosom
I'll have pancakes and nurse my heartache.
