Winking like sharks in pudding

The slow frothing of concepts
The liquid pooling of ideas
Their ooze of thought
Blobbing across the world

Unchecked
Madness inherent
Inherited
Passed through air, sneezelike
Breathed in through open mouths
Breathed out through closed minds
Open and closed at will's content

Free the will, as it please
to ends it cares not
for or about

The we, no more
For what does we have for I?

The predator in the pudding,
the slow, sure movement
of things that hunt
the things that prey
the things that feed
Motions practiced a millenia and more
Unnoticed, unchecked
Gliding through the fabric that binds us
Nibbling our strings
Fraying our sanity
Floating us apart
Devouring our heart

A touch of the sharp
The skin in its
callous
The mind in its
smoothness
Unruffled, uncaring
Smooth
and undone

Thoughts smooth
and shiny
Scarlike
Wounded and overhealed
Hollow and echoes
Stone and sound
