Winter Depression

Post by chrystalheart »

If one more snowflake falls
adding its weightless gleaming form
to the white spread crunching beneath my feet

If one more chilling wind
passes easily through my tight knit coat
stiffening my joints and wracking my body with painful shivers

If one more colorless day
greets me mockingly when I open my door
displaying this lifeless and empty landscape

I may not make it 'til spring.

You're really talented:') Love your work. Not everyone can portray depression as it is in a poem. Your poem expressions the true feelings of a human who's suffering through depression that the reader too feels it deeply

I really enjoyed this poem - it made me miss winter (but that's because I'm pale and cant stand the heat of July).
