When I die
commit me to the earth whole
Let no one sully me
with their sharp tools of curiosity
Hide me away in the ground while I sleep
Mother will awaken me
when I'm clutched to her bosom

From my body will flow life
to nourish the ground that protects me
Mother will guide my being
to the wisdom of the trees for safekeeping

I will become the trees
and sing the song of nature
with the chorus of the wind

I will live forever
