An Angel's Cert

Some people believe in Angels.
I would be foolish to not believe that is true, because in my life I have you.
You created me and even though I don't feel like a miracle, I do feel blessed.
You never let me go hungry or cold, you did all that you could and more to me a better person.
You supported me at my highest and my lowest, taking care of me until I could stand on my own again.
I know my emotions are not open, so it can be hard to tell how I am feeling.
I love you and appreciate you, though I don't say it or show it nearly enough.
You are beautiful and no matter the years, I will always be grateful that you are my angel.

I wrote this for my mum in a card on Mother's Day, to show her how much she means to me. Words come easier on paper than a voice for me.
