Dust and Breath

Post by Kat Berg »

Dust & Breath

We are but dust and the breath of God
My, how it seems like such a small thing
When you put it that way

How is it that dust and breath
Could contain all this pain and sorrow
Of a life left behind

We are but dust and the breath of God
Oh, how glorious it seems
When you put it that way

How is it that dust
Is worthy
Of the very breath of God?

An image I found at the same time comforting and thought-provoking. A little gem of a poem.
An Eye for an Eye only ends up making the whole world blind.

I thought this is your poem. When I checked, I noticed that you are the last who commented. 😄
