The Blizzard

Post by Sundae Tobias »

Hear the echoes of the steels clanking
All of a sudden there was rumbling
All four men were heavily breathing
Though shivering, they kept walking

The journey was exhausting
All they could think of was sleeping
As the snowstorm kept coming
The men started hallucinating

And as they came to their senses
All was filled with happiness

Inspired from Dreams(1990) by Akira Kurosawa

Reminds me of a novel I read once. The main character froze to death, and just before he passed, he felt warm. I wonder what it'll be like, to die. There are so many theories, but... yeah. One Switchfoot song's lyrics go "no one makes it out alive". They're not being morbid (and I don't mean to be either), just realistic.

Thank you for sharing.

Do you remember the title of the novel? It's kind of interesting to read.

That's true, better be realistic. Thank you for your thoughts. :D
