The Difference Between Bad & Good

Post by cmalone17 »

Uncertainty is a demon that plagues me. She feeds off of my insecurities, and fills my mind with what-ifs. I fear her, for many times, she has ruined me. Late at night, she creeps into my dreams, mutating them into hellish nightmares. She breathes life into my deepest romantic fears. Perhaps she is but a woman scorned, or perhaps she has never felt Love's sweet embrace.
Trust. He is the angel, made to ward off Uncertainty and her dark veil on my mind and heart. Trust is that who makes me believe that Love is as pure and undeniable as she seems. Everyday is a battle, and sometimes Uncertainty wins. Those are the bad days, when Trust cannot break through the darkness. But some days, Trust is triumphant, and is able to clean up Uncertainty's mess. Those are the good days.

Felt your every emotions here. Thanks for sharing. I could totally relate to this.
"Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light;
I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night."
