May we never lose our wander!

Post by Jaime Lync »

When we were wanderers
a house was what we wished for -
rooftop to cover us from the cold and heat,
walls to block the preying people.
Back then we were praying people.
Pathetic paupers? Perhaps, but
as wanderers we were at home in the Lord,
Our Rock and Refuge, singing happily,' Hallelujah!'

You are indeed a lost wanderer my friend. You need to make an account here. Try going to the review team page and signing up as a reviewer. There are also other useful forums that can point you in the right direction. Please let me know when you become a reviewer. I will be glad to read your book reviews since I myself am an avid reader and a reviewer here.

Amazingly my wanderlust has never aged. No aches and pains from advancing years. If we could bottle that secret we would live forever. Thank you for your poem, thank you for sharing, I enjoyed the read.

A beautiful poem.I enjoyed reading it.Good use of homophones(preying and praying)in the fourth and fifth lines respectively.
