This is what we all become
Shells of our befores
Whispers of memories past
Trails of history
This is what we all become
Mere shadows of a life
that once was
In what we must become, lies the puzzle...
Why are we here?
When all we could ever become is...
Nothingness
Sojourners of time
Whose relevance fades with the night
Why are we here?
Playing a role with no scripts
And no certainty of reward
Struggling day by day to remain sane
Even though we know
that all we could ever be would only be
Memories...
Only vanishing dots in the universe
