As a child
Only 5 years old in an imperfect system
and a corrupted world
I was put
With people that expected me to call them. .mom and dad
When they were not
Since that age
My hearts never gone black
I feel as though
They allowed an innocent child
Simply Fall through the cracks
Badly abused by both mother and father,
To be left alone in a world of Sexual predators
If this is too heavy then let me become the editor
Because My life My story
Belongs to Me
And no matter
My past
It Is not my future
I may have fell through the cracks,
I'm healing, Now I understand
The very things Holding me back
Were only to do with
Me holding on to my past
I came back
And those cracks I fell through
Were finally patched
We all have a voice,
Need to be heard
I am a survivor
Now time to become the best
Version of me
FOR ME before I leave this earth
I fell through some cracks
Cried out and was
Rebirthed.
