Find Yourself : Within The Mask

Post by VictoryBeam23 »

Find Yourself (Within The Mask)

There's a door that I cannot see
Left behind, I want to be free
I just can't seem to believe
That I no longer know the real me

Guess I'll have to find a way
To make things all okay
So I can get through the fray
And create a brand new day

I know it's fine not to be alright
Yet, I stand here before the sight
Of myself who can't shine bright
'Cause they fear what they'll dream tonight

But I can't let things get worse
Need to find a way through the hurt
Even with my heart buried in dirt
I know there's a way out of this curse

So I guess I need to find a way
In order to make things all okay
So that I can get through the fray
And create a more beautiful day

There's a door that I'm trying to see
I'm left behind, and I need to be free
I have to learn that I will be
Able to soon see the real me

The idea is very stimulating. Here's a soul clamoring for freedom. Anyway, at first I thought this was something to do with the pandemic, the mask and the personal protection equipment.
