Stay with Me

stay with me
let me sleep in your arms
let me lie down in your bed of lies
and just for one moment
I'd like to believe that you loved me once

stay with me
let me hold those calloused hands
let me feel one thing you've never felt
and just for a second
I'd like to believe you were mine once

stay with me
let me look into your eyes
let me waste this chance by staring at you
and just this once
I'd like to believe it will end just fine

stay with me
just this one time smile for me
smile like nothing was broken
and just this one last time
I'd like to believe
