The Cookie Boy

Post by hansonuko »

He placed his hands on the kitchen table, made a fold of his fingers as if he were counting the Rosary. His mouth stubble-wobbling with stuff that seemed it were corn from the frying pan. He tried to look just at the floor in a bid to hide his face from the direction where some footsteps were rustling to the kitchen direction. Door bounces. "Hey! James, what is that in your mouth?" A woman asked as she came into the kitchen. He could not say a word. "So, now you won't answer. I counted those meats on the cookie. I knew you would eat them without my permission. And, you just did." She paused. "Mum, are you calling me a thief?" James retorted huskily with a distorted sound. "You just said it, because you just acted like one!" Mum replied.
