It is great that the author decided to provide an introduction before every part. Sounds like an inspiring collection detailing on many aspects of human life. Thanks for the detailed review.

I love poetry and I definitely don’t read enough of it. I may give this book a try based on the review. Although I don’t appreciate curse words and I’m not Buddhist, I’m sure the book will be lovely if I just sift past those aspects.

This collection of poems is quite the stirrer of emotions. I'm glad the author is able to touch the reader in such a profound way. It is for sure painting with words as the title reads. Kudos for an amazing work of art.

Thanks for your review! I really appreciate that the author includes an introduction before each poem. Sometimes, I find myself not really connecting with poems because I don't understand the author's reason from writing them. It's cool that the collection starts off with an evocation of a Muse. This is reminiscent of the ancient Greek poets. I'm most excited to read the poem "The Old Mare".

It's difficult to read an interpretation of a poem before reading it yourself, but the author does a wonderful job of inspiring the reader to be interested in the poems before even getting to them. The best kind of book is one where the author is passionate about the topic. This looks like a great read for those interested in poetry.

I like that there's an introduction before every part. I think most people usually give meaning to poems based on their thoughts and that sometimes it may be far from what the poet is trying to convey so it's a nice touch that he explains what he's aiming for, and what inspired him to write it. I view this as a good book to have while traveling. Thanks for the review.

At first glance, I was convinced this book was about art in some form. In a way I was right. Good poetry is an art and from your review, I believe this book would be for me. Congrats on a great review.

I don't usually stick with an entire book of poetry. I usually look for passages that pertain to a specific emotion I am feeling that day. However, the review seems thorough and thought provoking. It encourages me to finish this book!

The title was enough to win me over. Poetry is so close to my heart and the subjects the author covers seem so thought provoking and enlightening. Certainly a lovely collection of verse! Can't wait to read it.
